The dreamGEAR DGUN-2588 is listed by Newegg as a Universal GRX-670 gaming headset for gamers looking for a headset, but the listing’s category and type fields call it a DLP replacement lamp and project lamp, so verify the product details before choosing it.

    Recommended For

    • Players on Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, or PC who want a wired headset with a boom mic for voice chat; dreamGEAR lists these platforms as compatible.
    • Console players who want to adjust game and chat volume separately rather than manage a single combined volume control.
    • Players gaming near their console or PC who prefer a long wired connection and do not need wireless freedom; the gaming cable is specified at 15 feet.
    • People who want one wired headset for gaming and occasional phone or tablet listening, and are comfortable switching to the shorter standard-audio cable setup.
    • Travelers who pack a wired gaming headset and value a foldable design over a wireless, battery-powered setup.
