Compatible with PCIe 3.0 motherboards and backward compatible with PCIe 2.0 and PCIe 1.0.
If you have an older system without an M.2 slot, this adapter allows you to use modern NVMe SSDs.
You can add more storage capacity by using this adapter to install an additional NVMe SSD. NOT support hot swaping.
