what revision number is this motherboard? 1.0, 1.1, or 1.2

I bought such a board more than a year ago, but not from Newegg.

I doubt that the rev. number of the board I bought (1.0) is relevant to current purchases from Newegg.

If Newegg can't tell you the rev. number of their stock, and you insist on 1.2, you either take a chance, or buy from a vendor who can supply the information. (It's on the outside of the box.)

Is the GIGABYTE TRX50 AERO D motherboard compatible with AMD Threadripper processors?

The TRX50 AERO D is compatible with the Threadripper 7000 processors.  I have 2 of these, they are good MB's.  Best BIOS for Threadripper TRX50.

Which well reviewed AIO cooler covers the full area of STR5 CPU?

I don't know about "well reviewed". Puget Systems says they'll be using the Asetek 836S-M1A. That seems to be unavailable at retail. AMD has a list of approved coolers for the 7000X series. A couple of them (Enermax LIQTECH TR4 II Series 360mm, Silverstone IceGem 360) have large cooling plates, but a number of unfavorable reviews. I'm trying one from Alphacool. Their Eisbaer Pro series have large plates. The fans they include are supposed to be noisy. I've swapped in some Phanteks T30 fans. (I had to obtain some 35mm long M3 screws, as the Alphacool radiators use metric screws.) They're not very noisy at 2000RPM, although they are audible.

In my opinion, there is no well-established AIO cooler for the Threadripper 7000 series at the moment.
