No, if doesn't come with any kind of cabling or adapter. What you see is what you get, but what you get is still pretty good.

I think this may be overkill for what your trying to do. The 970's contain the newest Maxwell GPU architecture from Nvidia, and they offer huge performance/price increases over older models. However, you need to keep in mind the performance of your other hardware. An amazing graphics card won't really do you much good if the rest of your hardware can't keep up with it, so you may be better off buying a cheaper card. I mean, if your willing to shell out $300 for this bad boy be my guest, but for most applications you won't get too much of a performance improvement over a slightly cheaper 780.

allow clearance up to 11 or 12 inches. It's not quite that long, but it's always a good idea to give a card some extra space to breathe.
