Is this a blow-dryer brush? Can I use it on damp hair?
No - it styles, it does not dry. Use on 100% dry hair: blow-dry first, then shape. The 40W ceramic tourmaline barrel heats to a precise 390-430°F but has no airflow. On dry hair that is exactly what makes flips and root lift hold all day.
Will it work on a pixie cut - or my husband's short hair?
Yes. The 3/4 in (19mm) barrel grips hair from 2 in up to 14 in - pixies, bobs, curtain bangs, and men's quiffs or textured crops. Divide into 4 parts, clip away what you are not styling, and work in 2-3 in sections.
Can I take it overseas?
Yes - dual voltage 120V-240V switches automatically. Abroad you only need a plug adapter for the outlet shape, never a voltage converter. The 6 ft swivel cord, hanging loop and included travel pouch are packed for exactly that trip.
Do the bristles get too hot to touch?
Bristle tips are heat-resistant nylon designed to shield the scalp; the barrel is hot. Keep sessions moving; use the extended cool tip as your grip point.
Will it snag textured or type-4 hair?
It performs best on straight-to-wavy short styles. For coily/chemically treated hair: fully detangle, blow-dry smooth, take 2–3 in sections, rotate slowly.
