Does this unit support passing a call to a fax machine?

Not that I know of. I get a lot of beeping fax machine voice mails!

does it beep when there is a message?

Yes, it does. It beeps at ~10 second intervals. I can hear it when I come into the house from the garage. It keeps beeping until you play the message. I hope that helps!

Can you tell me the maximum length (mins) of a phone greeting message you can create? Thank You JR

Quick answer is I do not know off hand...I have never maxed out with an incoming message acording to the instructions the unit has 60 minutes of capacity and the caller can leave a message of up to three minutes.
