Analog synthesizer fans in search of an affordable 100% analog synthesizer will love the Cre8audio East Beast, an east-coast-style semi-modular synthesizer with a big, fat-sounding voltage-controlled oscillator, a multimode filter, and several performance features. The instrument can be removed from its desktop enclosure and placed into a 40 HP Eurorack case.
Designed in collaboration with Pittsburgh Modular, the East Beast is made from modern components, which provide a super-rich, unique sound with stability. The multimode filter is not based on a transistor-ladder design, but instead utilizes an all-original design with a creamy character and no dead spots. Form nasally to biting and elsewhere, this filter is all one large sweet-spot. The East Beast includes a power adapter, four Nazca Noodles patch cables, and two 3.5mm to 5-pin DIN MIDI pigtails.
