The Original Air-Powered Speaker Stands (Since 2005). The only air-powered stand with two different weight settings (F1 & F2).
These pneumatic stands assist you in effortlessly raising and lowering your loudspeakers effectively reducing the burden of their weight. However one size doesn\'t fit all. Dr. Frankenstand took the average of the most common speaker weights and devised the following options:
F1 (aka F35-50): for 10-12in speakers or speakers weighing between 30 to 50 pounds.
F2 (aka 55-80): for 15in speakers or speakers weighing between 55 to 80 pounds.
Please note: The load capacity exceeds 150 pounds.
Hybrid stands – Frankenstands are made with aluminum legs sliding tubes and a steel center-tube (lighter and stronger).
A frequently overlooked problem of speaker stands is the presence of sharp metal leg ends that can cut through their rubber feet after some use. Frankenstand has addressed this issue by incorporating plastic plugs behind the rubber feet providing a smart and effective solution.
