Barrow Multi-color Waterproof LED Strip, Aurora Compatible, 50cm, 3-Pin Fan (LD2RT-50)

The Barrow LD2RT-50 is a 50 cm self-adhesive LED strip for Barrow LRC 2.0 (Aurora) 5V addressable RGB lighting. Each of its 30 LEDs has its own control chip, so the strip can show running and changing color effects, and you can cut it to length at the marked points. It plugs in with a 2510 3-pin connector.

Addressable LEDs

Barrow builds the strip from independent LEDs, each driven by its own IC. That lets every LED change color on its own, so the strip can run flowing, chasing and rainbow effects instead of one color at a time.

Cut to the length you need

Crop marks between the LEDs show where the strip can be cut. Barrow says you can cut it to the number of LEDs you need, so it fits a case edge, a reservoir or a radiator exactly. Cut only at the marks; Barrow warns that cutting elsewhere can leave part of the strip dark.

Easy to fit

The back of the strip is self-adhesive: peel off the backing and press it in place. Barrow describes the strip as waterproof.

Control

Connect the 2510 3-pin plug to a Barrow LRC 2.0 controller such as the ARSKZQ or the DK301-16 hub, a splitter such as the ARKZXS1-5, or a 5V ARGB motherboard header through Barrow's adapter cable ZBDZJX-5M. An extension cable such as the YCAR-800 adds reach.

Notes

• The strip needs a 5V addressable controller or motherboard header; no controller is included. Do not connect it to a 12V RGB header (4 pins).
• Barrow gives no IP rating for the waterproofing and no current draw.
• Barrow makes the strip in 50 cm (30 LEDs) and 100 cm (60 LEDs). This listing is the 50 cm strip; the other length is LD2RT-100.
