Does this enclosure support Windows 10 trim with a drive such as the Samsung 850 evo?

The Samsung EVO uses a different connector.  This is  an NGFF enclosure not NVME.  The connection type is convoluted and the only device i found that works is the Asus hyper m.2 x4 mini card.  Running samsung 950 on x79 with no issues.  Not running at fullspeed but still faster than sata.

I have purchased two different enclosures and found the contacts do not seat well. I have a Liteon CV1-8B256-HP. Any suggestions? Liteon has yet to reply to my email.

I have tried a couple of enclosures.  It seems the issue may be more with the M.2 drives than with the enclosure itself.  I have had the same issue when replaces drives in laptop. Normally you would insert the drive and if the hold down screw would go in, you would think that's good enough.  I have found that pushing the drive in firmly and once in position to put screw in, I have to put pressure on the drive forcing it firmly into seat while tightening hold down screw.  Hope that helps you out.
