Can this device be used without a monthly subscription?
No, this device requires activation and a monthly subscription for 24/7 professional monitoring in order for the system to communicate with ADT's monitoring center. Activation instructions will be included in each system.
Can I wear the On-The-Go in the shower?
Yes, the sytem of the On-The-Go is water-resistant and may be taken in the shower. The paired accessory (wristband, neck pendant, Fall Detection pendant) are waterproof and may be fully submerged in up to 3ft of water for up to 30 minutes.
How long does the battery last?
The battery of the On-The-Go lasts up to 40 hours on a single charge and we recommend daily charging when its convenient. The paired pendant's batteries lasts up to 18 months. We will contact you when the bttery is running low for a free replacement.
Does it have GPS tracking?
Yes, the On-The-Go does have GPS capabilities so that in the event of an emergency, our agents can pinpoint the user's exact location and share with EMS.
Can this be used in rural areas?
Yes, the On-The-Go system utilizes AT&T's nationwide cellular network so that our customers are protected all over the U.S. In the event there is not a strong signal, the ADT agent during activation will recommend our landline medical alert solution
