Simple Mobile SIMPLE Mobile BYOP SIM Kit, SIM Card Sizes Include Standard, Nano, and Micro

The Simple Mobile BYOP SIM Kit is a universal SIM card kit with standard, micro, and nano sizes for people who want to activate a compatible unlocked GSM or T-Mobile phone on Simple Mobile; a compatible phone and service plan are required.

Recommended For

• People who want to keep using an existing unlocked smartphone on Simple Mobile prepaid service, after confirming that the phone and this specific SIM kit are currently compatible.
• Switchers who want to bring an existing phone number to Simple Mobile; number transfers are supported, though availability can depend on the number and provider.
• People with a physical-SIM phone who need a standard, micro, or nano SIM size; the kit includes all three cut sizes.
• Prepaid users who want to activate a compatible phone with a separate service plan and manage service in plan cycles rather than rely on a postpaid contract.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• To keep using an unlocked phone when switching to Simple Mobile, the user checks the phone’s compatibility, inserts the SIM size that fits, and activates it with a separate service plan; this can avoid buying another phone if the device is supported.
• When moving a compatible phone to Simple Mobile, the user can request to transfer an existing number during activation; the number transfer and service activation are separate steps from inserting the SIM.
• When a phone uses a different SIM-card size than the one supplied, the user selects the matching pre-cut size from the kit; the kit includes standard, micro, and nano options.
• For someone setting up a phone for a family member or as a spare, the SIM kit provides a way to activate a compatible unlocked phone; the user still needs to purchase and activate a service plan.
• Before relying on an older or imported phone for everyday calls and data, the user checks the device’s current Simple Mobile compatibility; an unlocked phone is not necessarily supported, and service quality can vary by location and device.
