Question 1

Can you adjust the monitor height of each monitor independently? I have an Apple Thunderbolt display and an AOC monitor and the VESA mounts are at different heights. I want to make sure I can line the monitors up exactly which will require one monitor arm to be about an inch higher than the other.

Yes. Absolutely. Orientation and position on all axes of each monitor is independently adjustable. Any monitoe with a VESA mount on the back and that weighs 17 lbs or less will work fine.

Question 2

Can this product be clamped to a desk that uses a 1/4 inch tempered glass top?  I have many attorneys in my office that are getting jealous of their secretaries that have this product.

Without knowing the specs on the glass that is a tough question.  I would think it would be okay especially given the screw plate comes up from the bottom and I am assuming the bottom of the desks are wood or some other material than glass. A small thin pad on the glass might be helpful to add some friction and prevent scratching.  Just my initial thoughts, my desk is solid wood so my knowledge is limited.

will this work for 27 inch monitors x 2 ?

I added an extension arm (from an older unit I had ) to one side to accommodate 2 27" ASUS monitors.   I had no issues with the stand supporting the weight or working with my "unauthorized" setup.

Question 4

I have a client looking to easily rotate one of the monitors around to show a mirror desktop to someone on the other side of the desk while still being able to have a typical extended desktop setup.

A) Will the arms on this mount rotate or pivot sufficiently to present the monitor to the opposite side of the desk? 
B) Will regular movement of the arms back and forth in this manner be problematic over the long run?

A) Yes, the arms rotate and pivot sufficiently to be able to move them around and display your monitor so viewers on the opposite side of the desk can see.
B) I can't speak too much on the longevity from moving the arms back and forth constantly, as mine stay put most of the time in a side-by-side position. But, based on the stout build quality of these units, they should hold up very well over time.

Question 5

How does this fasten to the desk? I want one that doesn't fit over the edge but that I can screw down to the top of the desk.

It mounts both ways, either with a clamp at the edge of the desk through a hole in the desk.  Well built mount.  Heavy duty.  I have 2 24" NEC multisync monitors and the mount has no trouble supporting them.  Hope this helps.

Does this monitor stand accept Dell 7450 OPTIFLEX monitors?

Judging by the specifications listed for the 7450 Optiplex all in one, as long as you have the DELL VESA mount bracket that came with your machine, and it weighs under 20 lb (specifications list the 7450 at 15.6 lb) this mount will work for you.

Does this product come with extenders for very tall employees?

Somewhat. You can Google Ergotron and there's one accessory that are black plastic rings which will raise the two monitors arms at their base by about a centimeter plus or minus. Not sure if sold on Newegg. You can already increase the pressure in each arm so that their raised all the way up permanently. But if you still need to get a little more height, you can look up the specifications on the link I am including of an Ergotron LX extender arm. It will ultimately add another few inches to be overall height. I actually have one I just bought a week ago unused in box. Didn't end up needing it.
