Correct Way to Use
- Clean your hands and keep them dry, Wear the anti-static wrist strap on your wrist, and keep the metal piece inside the anti-static wrist strap in close contact with your skin.
- Attach the metal clip to one of the grounding nodes on an Anti-Static Mat or a grounded metal surface. You're now ready to repair.
How To Test
- The purpose of the 1 MO is for safety: to limit the amount of current that could be transferred through the body.
- Because of the resister, this bracelet will not sound when testing for continuity on most meters and will need to be tested in a different way, such as by measuring overall resistance.
- Use an ohmmeter or multimeter to check if there is resistance, you should see some measurable resistance (indicating good conductivity) if the strap is functioning correctly.
