The Froggy's Fog® Boreas S4® Snow Machine With DMX (FSM-BOREAS-S4) is a professional, fully adjustable snow effects machine built to create everything from white-out blizzard conditions to beautiful, gently falling flurries. Its a great choice for theater productions, film sets, winter attractions, themed events, and venue installs where you need reliable output, flexible control, and a clean, repeatable effect.
A key advantage of the Boreas S4 is its two-stage blower motor system, giving you a low 800W and high 1, 350W fan setting. This makes it easier to match your available power (including generator use or limited circuits) while still having the option to run at maximum blower speed for longer throw distances across larger stages and venues.
For sound-sensitive environments, the S4 includes integrated noise-reductionwith optimized internal components and soundproofing built into the chassis to help keep operating noise as low as possible for film and theater use.
The Boreas S4 also supports DMX adjustable output (1 DMX channel), allowing you to control the pump/output from your console. This lets you fine-tune output/flake size during a show and synchronize snow cues with lighting, audio, and other effects. The unit is DMX512-A compliant (ANSI E 1.11 ) and RDM compliant (ANSI/ESTA E 1.20 ).
A large 5-liter / 1.32 -gallon reservoir helps support extended operationapproximately 50 minutes at full blizzard output and up to 200 minutes at the lowest flurry output (application dependent). The machine is built with a rugged steel and aluminum housing, and the control panel includes water-resistant (IP-rated) power components. Installation is flexible with standing or hanging mounting, using the integrated yoke and safety attachment point, and it can be oriented up to +/-40° from horizontal.
