I have Panasonic cordless phones that use Panasonic HHR65AAABU 630 MH batteries I am hope these BK-4MCCAB4 800 MH will work fine as a replacement?

I am not familiar with that particular phone but generally,  if the phone takes nickel metal hydride AAA  size 1.2 volt batteries these would work.   The key issues are voltage and battery chemistry.   The wrong voltage or chemistry will not charge or may damage your phone.   Check your existing batteries for these two issues before you buy.

Are these 1.2 volt or 1.5 volt AAA batteries?

They're only 1.2 volt. Mine were still being made in Japan.

I have found that many products require the full voltage of a non-rechargeable. Some will quit when only 20% discharged, or about the point these start at.

Yes- In fact, they're better the the Ni-CD batteries that come with most lights, or that are recommended in the instructions.  NiMH batteries have no memory effect "unlike NiCD", and have more storage capacity- so they will last longer during the dark times, when the weather gets colder and less sunlight is available to recharge the batteries.

Most cordless phones use battery packs- which in simplest terms is several batteries wired together, into a tight package.  These probably won't fit into the tight space required

1.  None of the ones you find at the local stores are any good.  They must be charged in pairs, you can't just charge one.

LaCrosse BC-700

do these batteries work in a Panasonic (model KX-TGA641) phone?

LOL they work in anything that uses AAA batteries often cordless phones have battery cages that put the batteries in series to up the voltage if you take apart an old battery pack and use the battery cage its possible if we are talking about a cordless phone here and the pack uses AAA batteries.  Tho you will have to remove the postive battery cap and solder them together which is not easy for a soldering or electronics manufacture/hacker novice.  Soldering batteries require high heat and its possible to damage them or some kind of contact weld method.  Good soldering and or tools for this job of quality are not cheap and are an investment.  You need a solder tip cleaner(unless you always keep the tip tinned aka solder on it even when ur done let the solder cool on the tip) and to watch some videos on soldering.  Soldering is not about globbing solder onto something.  The solder has to flow off the tip and onto a heated part it wont transfer otherwise.  Its best to wipe flux on the point to be soldered and view soldering as having solder replace flux when the part is at proper temperature.  Good luck making your own battery packs will be expensive but you will have a modern electronic skill that will pay back the investment in time and the tools to do it.
