What do the pros use? They use cameras with not one but 3 CCD image sensors for the best images possible. So does this camcorder! Okay, it's still a consumer-level camcorder, but it's a step up at a price you can probably afford. Mini-DV tape, it can also use the SD memory cards for still shot storage, you can use automatic/manual iris control, it has a 10x optical zoom and a 700x digital zoom, and did I mention the image stabilization feature?
Your tripod-less videos won't look like you were on horse-back any more! And the still images are 2048 x 1512 pixels in size. Shutter speed can vary from 1/50th of a second to a snappy 1/8000th of a second for video and 1/25th to 1/2000th of a second for still pictures.
