Pros: Memory arrived on time and intact as usual! Installed in my Dell D600 laptop. Would not boot or even post. Switched modules around and it booted fine and ran like a champ. Kind of worried me at first but it seems to be running great. Now I just have to upgrade my 4200rpm hard drive to a 7200rpm. That arrives today! YES

Overall Review: Being a die-hard Corsair fanboi, I have always wanted to try some other brands and this upgrade was my opportunity to do so. I read Corsairs reviews for DDR200 laptop memory and it scared me. So I bought the most popular brand: Patriot. Yes, I could have bought a different brand that had a rebate offer. However, my experience with rebates has been horrible so I opted not to get memory with a rebate. Not sorry I bought Patriot. Seems like quality memory to me and it is working great! Like I said, now I will be installing a 7200rpm HD for better speed on my Dell D600 laptop.

Pros: Installed one stick of 1GIG in my HP zv5000 laptop and it worked great. The laptop came with 512 ram and the replacement of one of the 256 sticks greatly improving the performance of this laptop. Once again I have a laptop that works great for day to day tasks. I ordered this product on Wednesday and it arrived Friday.

Overall Review: Shipping was fast.

Pros: Put it into a Toshiba Satellite M45. This RAM was coupled with a 512MB already in the laptop. Works well right out of the package. Good price for 1 GB of SO-DIMM RAM. Toshiba specified Kingston RAM but when I opened the cover, it was some other brand I have never heard of. So I decided to save some money and go with this one based on the positive reviews.

Cons: None so far. I may post a later update if there is a problem with the RAM. I have not seen a huge boost in performance but that is probably not the RAM's fault. This laptop shares memory with the video processing. I will have to run a few tests.

Overall Review: newegg rocks! I ordered it late Monday and it was to me Wednesday! That is wonderful. Keep up the great service newegg!

Pros: Been Having great results with all Patriot, sodimm, ddr, ddr2... I do suppose it what machine; Me, I am toshiba laptop guy myself, and used this along with A#D#ata, because I read that some that used 2 sticks of the latter had complaints.

Cons: None for me, but I have many machines with nice mobos to always come out ok.

Overall Review: Samsung is pretty good memory for most laptops in the Toshiba line...but this and the aforementioned stick did the trick. I did have to go in steps due to needed memory for other laps when customer wanted upgrade. This worked with Patriot 2.5, Samsung, and ADATA..all 2.5. My Tecra M2 from New Egg is now a year old with a good replaced larger Samsung fast ata hardrive. nice PM machine.

Comments: Highly recommended. 512 MB was a lot maybe 2 yrs ago, but not anymore. I use this laptop for scientific computing and with everything I was running, I was starting to get some hard drive thrashing with the windows xp page file. This is no longer a problem. Easy to install. Highly recommended.

Overall Review: I added 2 1GB sticks to my 8 year old Gateway laptop which is used by my wife and 3 kids. The wife uses it for browsing the web and the kids play online games. All of them were impressed with how fast their individual preferences loaded when switching accounts. The more memory intensive online games the kids play no longer bog down nor freeze the machine. As usual New Egg shipping was fast and free. This is the 5th item I've ordered from New Egg in the past 2 weeks and the 10th item in the last 2 years. I don't know how I ever managed shopping online for electronics before I discovered New Egg but they are now my go-to resource for all my computer/audio needs.

Pros: Really revitalized my old Dell d600 and 8600 Inspiron laptops. Drop it in and go. Combine that with Neweggs fantastic service and shipping makes it even a bigger winner.
