Pros: - Actually sustains write speeds, unlike cheap drives that advertise "peak" speeds that quickly drop off. - Generally really fast. - Ideal slide cover design. Not the other finicky design that retracts on insertion.
Overall Review: I needed to transfer many Gigabytes of files on a daily basis, and my collection of other low-cost USB3 flash drives would slow down to about 7 MB/s very quickly as (I'm guessing) their SLC cache filled up during a write. An IDE laptop hard drive on a USB2 adapter was faster! So after a ton of research, I got this Patriot drive with the adage "you get what you pay for" in mind. I tested it by copying 80 GB of varied files to it at once, and it SUSTAINED 400~450 MB/s BOTH WAYS! (Factory Exfat format, Linux OS, NVME host drive.)
