Overall Review: The FirePower Fatal1ty 750W 80Plus really feels like a premium PSU when holding it and the materials used to make it really make the PSU stand out from the rest of the PSUs that are out there. It feels very well polished and it has a nice clean design that's not cluttered like the rest of the PSUs I have bought. There are plenty of cables in the box that are packaged quite well. I can't hear the fan spinning at all when gaming and even under full load using Prime95 which says a lot about the quality of the PSU. The installation process is pretty straight forward and you don't need me to explain how to install it because most of us who purchase these kinds of things are geeks and we know how this stuff works. Another thing that I love about this PSU is that it runs super cool and is whisper quiet. My old PSUs used to make loud noises but this one is inaudible. This PSU’s has varying RPM pending on load and temperature, which helps with the nice.

Pros: Looked amazing ultimately quiet

Cons: Unit failed after 3 years

Pros: Gold efficiency, spot-on and clean voltages at idle and under load, rare red LED fan, relatively compact with 6.3" length, ribbon cables (some love 'em, some hate 'em, I appreciate them) serious 14GA power cord.

Cons: Quality; had maybe 18 hours on it before the fan or temp control circuit for it (I suspect the latter) failed and the fan LED would just blink from high to low every 3 seconds coinciding with a subtle nudge of an otherwise motionless fan. Also, and I don't know if it's by failure or design but, approximately 10 seconds after the PSU itself is switched "OFF", it dumps power (cap drain no doubt) back into the mainboard - a no-no in my book. There are 4 6+2 PCIE connectors, but they are daisy chained as 2 each on only 2 cables (not pretty from a cable management standpoint, or efficient (if you're running 2 cards with 2 power connectors each, you'll likely need more than this 750W PSU), only 1 8-Pin EPS 12V cable (most 750W PSU's have 2 or at least another 4-pin). MSRP unrealistically high.

Overall Review: In all fairness, this unit is exactly as advertised in terms of specs and features, so there's nothing hidden here. Knowing of the shortcomings beforehand, I bought one mainly for 3 reasons (logical or otherwise); 1) it was on sale for 80 bucks, 2) it has the elusive red LED fan, and 3) flashback - had good experience with PC Power & Cooling back in their heyday before OCZ. After all I ended up disappointed, and returned the unit for a refund - just didn't feel comfortable enough with the quality to go the replacement route. Sorry to say, but this PSU is like a an old retired player trying to make a comeback.

Pros: Single Rail so you don't have to worry about overloading individual rails. Red LED's, Crossfire and SLI ready, Fully Modular

Cons: The power supply main 24 pin motherboard cable does NOT have sleeving on the individual wires. It is sleeved to about 2 inches from the connector and then the individual wires are exposed at the connector thus exposing the multi colored wires. I would have paid more if each individual wire was sleeved so it doesn't detract from the red and black theme.

Overall Review: If you're going for a full stealth or color match build then look elsewhere or plan on sleeving each individual wire on the 24 pin connector.
