Strips are magnetic, but magnet didn't felt strong. Feels like overtime, short time, it would unstick from the surface

Is this compatible with gigabyte rgb fusion with a 3-pin vdg digital rgb header on a gigabyte aorus gaming 7 motherboard?

I use this in my GIGABYTE Z370 AORUS Gaming 7, and it works great.  Changes color in-sync with the board, and the colors match pretty well, too.

Does this work with the built in RGB controller in the Phanteks Evolv Shift ITX Case?

No this is the digital version, they have a set that does work but it has a different pin layout. This does however work with digital rgb pin outs on certain motherboards that use aura sync or gygabytes fusion rgb
