Want to buy refurb unit. Is BT really fixed? Seems to be only defect.

The one I had would not stay connected to sub woofer and would time out where even rebooting did no good would have to wait until next day. If it was a show that had little bass it would time out for 10 hours even if the next thing you watch had bass, to bad, it was horrible. even when it was connected it wasn't all that. I paid more for a Samsung but it was so worth it. Getting a refund was easy, I do like this company just not the product.

Question 2

has the bluetooth issue been fixed on these units?  If not what are the options for repair?

Yep, it's been fixed. My unit works fine. The bluetooth has been sorted out. It appears that the only reason these units are "reconditioned" is because they needed the new firmware to fix the Bluetooth issue. Great buy, I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

What is the height of the sound bar?

i measured the tallest points of the sound bar and the  height is 
4 1/8" (up and down) the depth (front to back) is 5" not including brackets and the width (left to right) is 36"

Fiber Optic out and old gen aux to stereo? There's no digital out orange or aux port like an ipod or PC?

Yeah. I found it weird when I could not find 3.5 mm Aux Audio Jack. There are only Analog output ports, optical port, and bluetooth.

Does this soundbar have the newest firmware from Pioneer which fixes the bluetooth issues?

No, I just received mine and it has bluetooth issues, it only connects every so often and the radio seems very weak, I have to be within a few feet.  
I've got another Vizio soundbar and it connects instantly and works from across the room.

Question 6

The model number listed on you website is SP-S23W but as far as I can tell Pioneer does not have anything with this model number. The closest I can find is SP-SB23W and the specs listed on your site seem to match that system. Can you please confirm what the model number is?

If you look at the image of the packaging - the documentation in the picture shows the model as SP-SB23W. So it is a type-o in the NewEgg specs, but you have the right model number.
