With the perfect combination of immersive surround sound and comprehensive connectivity options, the Pioneer VSX-LX101 7.2 Channel Networked AV Receiver is the perfect choice for any entertainment enthusiasts who desire performance and versatility.
It’s equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity, Google Cast, Apple AirPlay and Pandora Internet Radio, giving you multiple options for wireless audio streaming. It features six HDMI inputs and one output (three of the inputs support 4K and 3D and the output supports 4K, 3D, and ARC.), iPhone/iPod/USB memory input, analog audio inputs/output and more, so you’ll have more than enough ways to access content on your HD cable box, Blu-ray player, MHL-equipped portable devices, etc.
The receiver outputs 80W per channel at 8 Ohms and features MCACC sound optimization to tailor the sound to your environment. It supports Dolby Atmos to create a more 3-dimensional sound space. It will also support DTS:X with a future firmware update.

Room Requirements
Using the Dolby Atmos Enabled Speakers you will need the following in order to use the Dolby Atmos-enabled capability of these speakers, the listening room ceiling should have horizontal flat hard surface (for audio reflection) and a height of 8’ to 14’.

In addition to a Dolby Atmos compatible speaker set up, you must have a Dolby Atmos compatible receiver/processor and Dolby Atmos encoded content.

- MCACC Auto Room Tuning
MCACC Auto Room Tuning Create the optimum acoustic environment with Pioneer’s MCACC (Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration System), developed with the expertise of professional recording studios. With the custom microphone, the system automatically compensates for differences in speaker size, level and distance, and equalizes response.

As an innovative solution for the phase lag between the subwoofer and the main channel speakers caused by the network filter, Phase Control compensates the delayed bass to improve sound synchronization.
- Reflex Optimizer
Reflex Optimizer layers MCACC for more accurate measurement when using enabled speakers. High directivity sound reflects off the ceiling, while low directivity sound directly reaches the ears. This difference causes a phase shift, making the sound feel uncomfortable. To solve this, the new technology optimizes the performance of your up-firing elevation speakers for your listening environment, by aligning the phase of direct and indirect sound, matching the basic tone, and optimizing the upward-oriented frequencies. The result is overall seamless sound with Dolby Atmos enabled speakers, allowing the ideal reproduction of three-dimensional surround sound.

The VSX-LX101 will support FireConnect Powered by Blackfire* with a future firmware update. FireConnect is a stable wireless protocol that streams audio from a compatible Pioneer AV Receiver to a compatible Pioneer wireless speaker**. Enjoy Bluetooth audio, front USB audio files and internet radio from the FireConnect compatible Pioneer AV receiver to an optional FireConnect compatible Pioneer wireless speaker(s)** located in another room(s).
