How far away can the headphones be from a BT dongle? Not going to use for phone (I don't have a cell), but want to work in the garage and listen to music from my computer. Thank you.

Plantronics BBP are great headphones but they're probably not right for your application.

The Bluetooth specification was only designed for "up to 10 meters" and they really mean a "line of sight" 10 meters.   My experience with these headphones is you can get a bit more outside but you get less indoors when you have intervening walls.  You really want to be in the same room as "the dongle".

Also, the BBP are relatively massive so they will slip off your head if you are moving around a lot.

Finally, the "noise cancellation" feature is not full spectrum: it is very affective at attenuating lower frequencies but allows higher frequencies through.  This seems to be the norm for ANR targeting the aircraft industry but might not attenuate your table saw noise to your liking.
