Yes. 
You can google "Media ID:   OPTODISCR016"  for other opinions.
They are not the best but for the price they are OK.
I use an ASUS DVD burner and I have never had a failure.
I use Verbatim and cheaper DVD blanks. I always  make two copies one, Verbatim and one from my cheaper supply.

The media code cannot be found on the disc packaging, it must be scanned from an actual disc using a utility like DVDidentifier, ImgBurn, or Nero DiscSpeed. Some examples are: Ritek-F16, MCC004-000, MBIPG101-R05, CMCMAG-AM3, AML003-000, et al. It tells you exactly who manufactures the DVD media regardless of brand.
