The new Plextor SATA 6Gb/s SSD, the M3 Pro performance series, provides read/write speeds up to 540/450 MB/s in sequential mode and up to 75,000/69,000 IOPS in random mode. The M3 Pro uses high-grade 24nm toggle flash, and 7mm height suitable for ultra-slim notebooks. It features Plextor’s exclusive firmware with True Speed technology to maintain the M3 Pro’s high performance and read/write speeds at like-new levels throughout the life of the drive.
M3 Pro SSD uses the latest SATA 6Gb/s (SATA III) interface, Marvell’s server-grade controller chip, and Toshiba 24nm Toggle NAND flash. Also supported by the flash is a 1.8V power mode, providing the M3 Pro with extremely low-power consumption making it a very eco-friendly product.

Trim SupportThe M3 Pro SSD offers TRIM support than can be enabled in Windows 7. Designed to maintain the performance of SSD at an optimal level over the lifetime of the drive, TRIM functions by actively deleting invalid data from the SSD’s memory cells to ensure that write operations perform at full speed. Since a memory block must be erased before it can be re-programmed, TRIM improves performance by pro-actively erasing pages containing invalid data, allowing the SSD to write new data without first having to perform a time-consuming erase command.
2.5" to 3.5" Bracket IncludedThe M3 Pro SSD is specifically designed for notebook computers coming in a 2.5-inch hard drive form factor. In addition, the installation kit includes a 2.5" to 3.5" bracket for matching with 3.5” drive bay to extend the storage of your desktop computer.
