Overall Review: TOTALLY worth the price. i have two of these and they both work perfectly, one i have had in use for over a year and a half, I just bought a refurbed 240gb PNY ssd as well because of my experience with these, hopefully it will work up to snuff with these babies. If you have the money go for an 860 evo, if you want the screaming performance, but if you are just looking to upgrade from an HDD and don't want to spend 100 dollars, go for this little guy, you will see a world of difference.
Overall Review: Had it for about a year and didnt see any problems with it. One day i went to turn my computer on and it wasnt showing up in my bios.

Overall Review: The first PNY drive I received from Newegg would not accept a clone of my old WD Blue hard drive. Crystal Disk Mark would not recognize the drive and Apricon would not clone it. I contacted Newegg customer service. The service agent was very professional and accommodating about the problem. Returned the first drive and the second worked fine on the first try. For ME, the PNY failure rate on this drive was 50%, "your mileage may vary." Good luck. The best part of this: Newegg customer service was great.
Pros: The great:
1- Works well on Linux
2- Quick bootups
3- My 3rd PNY SSD & no issues
4- Fast Premier processing/shipping
5- Newegg packaging (packed along with ASRock RX 570 in cardboard box & plenty of airbags unlike @mazon)
6- Snagged it up before they went to backorder status
7- Supports TRIM & AHCI mode (see my review on the PNY CS900 120GB SSD for more in depth details/info)
8- SATA III (using a SATA II or SATA I motherboard will bottleneck red/write speeds)
Cons: The not so great:
1- PNY OEM packaging offers no shipping protection
2- NOT included: mounting screws, nor SATA cable
3- No buy one get one free :)
4- On older-cheap pc cases you may need a 3.5 inch > 2.5 inch adapter
Overall Review: This is a good deal. The key to keeping a SSD fast is to run TRIM daily on Windows or Linux. On Linux run this command in a terminal daily:
1- Open a terminal
2- Type: sudo fstrim -v /
3- Press Enter on your keyboard
4- Type in your pc's password (be invisible)
5- Press Enter on keyboard
On Windows 10:
1- Click on folder icon on taskbar
2- click on "this pc"
3- right click on your SSD drive & left click "properties"
4- left click "tools" tab
5- Left click on "optimize"
6- Make sure your SSD is highlighted & left click on "optimize"
I strongly recommend PNY SSDs; due to the fact I have purchased four & had no issues ! These PNY SSDs are fast, well priced & dependable.
Cons: Used less than a year, then suddenly went dead. No warning, all data lost.
Overall Review: I have 3 other ssd drives from other brands used daily for several years with no issues. Short life span on this drive is unacceptable. Not sure if I can trust buying anything from PNY again.

Total garbage, 2nd failed drive11/22/2018 12:32:56 AM
Pros: - cheap
- can be replaced if fails fast enough
Cons: - 1st drive failed the first day
- 2nd drive failed within 4 months
- not the fastest SSD
- unreliable
Overall Review: - would not recommend
- i would rather smash it with hammer than get a replacement to fail again
