Does this VGA help in improving graphics for CAD applications?

Yes. Speaking from non-AI experience, we deploy Quadros on our video rendering and CAD/CAM stations as many have specific Quadro profiles within them to use the card. That said, software like CAD/CAM is often SINGLE-THREADED due to the math, and so pair with a fast processor that does single threaded well; we currently use a 9900X or Threadripper for video. Some CAM will use multi-thread. It's up to your manual. If you are talking AutoDesk or MasterCam see Singlethread with a Quadro. If you are looking at Adobe or video rendering, this card plus a fast multi-threaded. Note: a lot of CAD software does offer profiles for the Quadros, but do not release profiles for RTX type cards, so your performance difference between this and an RTX can be significant in our testing, again, dependant on your plugins and the CAD/CAM software you are using.
