Question 1

I saw the minimum processors requirements for this Quadro P400 are intel i5 and above, but I have seen configurations from workstations manufactures that use it with a i3. I have a intel core i3-6100 on a Gigabyte H110M-S2H motherboard, could be a supported choice?

Its possibly I bought this for a windows server 2008 build it was supposed to have drivers for server 2008 but I was unable to locate any. My system is AMD Opteron 6128 CPU 2Ghz 8 cores with 32GB ram 6 SSD hard drives in RAID 10. Card works well enough with generic drivers.  I think it depends on how balanced your overall configuration is amount of RAM speed of the hard drives, I think if you are using at least 16GB ram and 2nd generation SSD hard drives you will be happy with the performance also what is its intended purpose is it for graphics high end or basic data crunching word, adobe, office apps or are you looking at data base operations?  I would say it could handle all except high end graphics as long as the system is well balanced. Hope this helps

That's two questions. I can answer the first.

As of 6.6.17 I believe the Pascal GPU Technology is the newest chipset from Nvidia. This card is suppose to replace the K420 cards. It's very capable of running windows 10.
