will this work on my hp z620?

no it wouldn't. You would be better off looking at the Quadro RTX 4000 its 1/2 the cost and supports PCI gen3 which is what the HP Z620 Workstation Supported. (they have them here on New  Egg just search). 
This card RTX4000SFF is low power PCI gen 4 GPU and would function in that workstation but be severly limited by system bottlenecks.
