Does it bring two speakers?

Yes, this is a pair of speakers.  Generally Polk will sell their bookshelf speakers in pairs, and their floor standing loudspeakers one at a time.

For the record these speakers are fantastic.  I am using them currently as my front left and rights till i upgrade to the floor standing ones and bump these back as the surrounds.

Highly recommended.

Question 2

should I get this for $189 or tsi200 for $160? They look very similar...

They are essentially the same speaker with identical specs.  The main differences being the location of the tweeter, aesthetics of the speaker cabinet, and the shape of the grilles.  The TSi has a glossy top panel whereas the 45B does not.  If you really like the look of the 45B over the TSi200, just wait awhile.  They will come down in price again soon.  I purchased mine for $160 less than 2 months ago.

Question 3

Does the extra woofer add any substantial bass? I'm looking to possibly replace my Pioneer bookshelf's for these if that's the case. I'm a avid music listener and gamer so it'd be nice to get some extra bass without adding a subwoofer if possible(Limited Space).

I purchased the matching subwoofer, and in my opinion I would say no. The bookshelfs alone are great speakers, but don't have a particularly bass-y sound by themselves. If you can manage, I would just get a sub, its not too pricy and comparatively makes the set really first rate.

Question 4

Is there any difference in performance vs the Monitor 40 II ?  They look the same except for the driver configuration

The monitor 40 and 45B are nearly identical in size and spec, I have a pair of each and both provide good sound. If I needed another pair I might buy based on price and vendor. That said I bought the 45B speakers because I liked the monitor 40 speakers and they were not immediately available when I wanted another pair.

Question 5

Will these speakers (the pair) work with a receiver that has 80 watts at 8 ohms?

Yes.  Mine work fine with a vintage Pioneer amplifier with an 8 ohms output.  I believe these speakers are rated at 100 watts RMS so your 80 watts amp will work fine.  They've got decent base response but it you like a lot of boom get you a small subwoofer.

Question 6

The port of the speaker is on the back. Can they be mounted on wall shelves with the port within a couple inches of the wall? Looking at using these for L and R fronts instead of towers/floor standing.

I am inclined to believe that that setup will work.I have mine sitting on top of two repurposed old Cerwin Vea floorstanding speakers at about 5 inches from the wall and they sound great! Hope that helps.
