Does anyone know if a 1000 watt power supply will be enough for two of these cards?

It "should" although I don't have the setup to confirm it.  But I do know that my machine as it stands, draws a max of 380 watts when in BF4.  My machine has a 850-watt PSU from Antec, has 2 SSDs and 1 regular HDD.  It has this PowerColor GPU, a Corsair H110 watercooler for the CPU, and 1 DVD/RW drive.  Overall if BF4 draws 380 watts system-wide with 1 GPU, I'd assume that with the 2nd GPU it cannot possibly double the usage.  Your 1000-watt should work (if rated for 80%+ efficiency).

how many watts is this card ? i have a alienware x51 and want to upgrade the 660 that is in it , only has a 330w power supply

you need a minimum if 300 watts. I would not recommend putting that kinda power on at 330watt psu. You Bios would not even boot. you need to have head room with your PSU atleast 100 watts of the total wattage. With that said, a Motherboard/cpu/harddrive/fan will use at least 200 watts give or take. So i would recommend buying a 700 watt-ish PSU so the computers PSU stays healthy. So if the GPU needs 300watts, and the Motherboard ect needs 200, you have 500 watts that need powered. you dont want to stress out the PSU whatsoever. So 600-750 watt atleast.

I have an HP 6616f PC with AMD Phenom 2 quad core CPU, RAM upgraded to 16GB and PSU upgraded to Corsair GS700 700 watts. Will this GPU be compatible with my setup, and will there be a problem with bottlenecking because of the CPU?

yes the system should work Just fine. But your trying to put this card in a store bought PC. There are going to be things to consider like if it'll even fit or not Lol and then you need to know that all of these crazy hybrid powercolor cards get really hot so you should make sure you have ample cooling and ventilation for this card if your gonna buy it.

Is the card's core voltage locked?

No, I was able to under volt these using MSI Afterburner, of course that did not stay after a restart. But I was able to flash new BIOs and it worked great. With these cards and a lot of new cards now, they have dual BIOs so if you mess up the primary or the secondary, you always have a backup. I had 5 of these undervolted to 1.054v

Will a 500W PSU work with this card?

Without knowing what is in your system it's hard to tell what size PSU you need.

This video card uses about 20A on the 12v fail so just keep that in mind. I have an old 650W PSU with a multi-rail setup (4 x 17v  I think) and it would crash when I stressed the system.

Is this video card using Samsung or Hynix memory?

i dont know but i  bought 2 of them to mine bitcoins with and both with minimal overclocking both run stable for days at 845khs which is freaking amazing!

Are the memory chips cooled by the heatsink? Some 280x's do not cool the memory chips and i was wondering if this one does.

There's no side reference picture ether to confirm this.

there is an additional smaller heat sink over the memory chips.  it's not directly connected to the main heat sink but the back fan will blow air on it thou the primary heat sink.

I see complaints about two of these not fitting functionally on one board due to heat issues. I would like the option to buy a second later to use it's Crossfire ability. Will this not work?

My MOBO is a Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SLI ATX

I had 5 of these on 1 motherboard. And I am currently running 2 in crossfire. I have been able to overclock these very well, and they handle under voltage amazing also.

Yes you will be able to crossfire two of these with no problem. Just make sure that have 5 open expansion slots for these.
