A charger is not included, but if you have a eneloop charger it will work. The batteries are great and as far as I can tell they are as good as the eneloop at a fraction of the cost.

No. hope these batteries was a little cheaper. I brought a few form B&H (different brand) with a little lower price. The same band charger is tooooo expensive (almost double the price of the batteries.) to buy but works pretty good.

Here's a link to Maha's website. It contains the information that you are looking for. It should be the very first question in the FAQ. This is based upon using the Maha MH-C9000 charger.

The recommended charging current is 0.5C, or 0.5 times the battery capacity. The recommended discharging current is 0.25C, or 0.25C times the battery capacity. Here are some settings for common batteries:

2700mAh Charge: 1300mA Discharge: 700mA
2650mAh Charge: 1300mA Discharge: 700mA
2500mAh Charge: 1200mA Discharge: 600mA
2300mAh Charge: 1100mA Discharge: 600mA
2200mAh Charge: 1100mA Discharge: 600mA
2100mAh Charge: 1000mA Discharge: 500mA
2000mAh Charge: 1000mA Discharge: 500mA
1000mAh Charge: 500mA Discharge: 200mA
900mAh Charge: 400mA Discharge: 200mA
850mAh Charge: 400mA Discharge: 200mA

Can I use any AA battery charger or do they require a specific charger?

It must be an NiMH charger.  I've used several without any problems.
But charge rates do vary.  To be certain you can contact manufacturer (Maha).  Their customer service response is outstanding.

Do the batteries come in a hard case? Is that case re-usable? 
If these come in a hard travel case, that seems like a nice bonus.

They come in a clear plastic reusable case.
It works fine, not heavy duty but keeps them in place and easy to recognize in your camera bag

Is there a reasonably priced charger to go with this? I love quality products but I don't want to spend a lot to get a charger to charge these. Any ideas?

They will work with any NiMH compatible charger. I use them with a 1yr 4 bay Energizer that is 10yrs old, and an 8 bay 2 hr Radio Shack charger with no problems.

As far as I can tell, you can use any AA charger you want .......... if it's a specific ni-mh charger, charging may go faster. Sounds like your charge would be perfect!
