Pros: use this vendor, nothing to do with product rating
Overall Review: complimenting the newegg staff for a return item. initially 1 bad stick, call em' no problem, here's your rma, moments i get a prepaid ups code too. ups store doesnt recognise it, so i call newegg upon return form store after paying for shipping, they instantly credit my cc for shipping......this is a genuine full service "what can we do to make you happy" vendor.........what a great company to do business with
Pros: Does what RAM does. It's been stable for 2 days.
Cons: Heat spreaders extend (or are located) too low on the modules. This results in the DIMMs seating ~85% in the slot meaning that the heat spreaders hit the slots before the contacts were fully seated. The retainer clips were hard to push closed, and again, the chip didn't seat deeply enough to close them completely. I'm not going to RMA them because they fit well enough to function, after all.
This is a con of the particular modules I received, and not with the product in general: They were clearly returned to the mfr., repackaged, and sent to me. I know this because the contacts were slightly marred (as if they had been inserted into an MB previously), and the heat spreaders had some dings in the black enamel which exposed the aluminum beneath. I suppose it may have been manufacturing defects, but either way, not pleasing.
Overall Review: I wouldn't have bought these if I'd read my own review first.
I'd RMA them if return shipping were free.
Comments: memory works great, timings say 3-4-4-8 but picked up as 3-3-3-8 in bios. Nice to find tighter timings. Memory will overclock nicely, had it up to 250mhz (500mhz) no problem. Has a little trouble in memory tester, but stil runs games stable. Keeping memory at 225mhz and having your cpu at a higher multi will make things screaming fast.
Comments: Got It Day Before listing as Being Delivered.....Running It at 223Mhz 8-3-3-3 Currently....Doesn't seem to like any more than 2.7 on the DDR...But...For 2 gigs It's not that bad an Overclock......Still...would like to get to 226Mhz.

Pros: I am reviewing an old pair that I have had for 2 - 3 Years now running almost 24 /7 and they have run without a single glitch. The pair I own however is "Single Channel" but also 2 x 1 GB sticks. Although I haven't really Over Clocked them much and I just left my system back at stock speeds, I must say that they are nonetheless pretty stable and smooth.
Cons: I can't think of any cons for the kind of usage I've put them through. I'm getting what I expected from them.
Overall Review: Remember as a final note, I would like to add my system configuration. I think this helps users even more when choosing to buy a product! Remember that different configurations and systems yield different results!

Cons: Worked fine in a normally stable system for 5 days, then the system just kept crashing. Once these memory boards were removed, sysem was fine again.
Overall Review: The heat spreaders should not be so large, they do make it difficult to properly seat the modules in the motherboard.
Pros: these things come with a heat sink be careful not to apply too much pressure, the heatsinks might come off. i was a bit weary due to it not being made by kingston or another good quality RAM but now that ive had it for almost a year i say it is worth it, the only problem with my pc is the 2.4 single core processor in it which im hoping to remedy in the near future, i have been able to play oblivion with out lagging problems, though i may have a NX7900GS its nothing without 2 gigs of Ram to run it.
Cons: its not high performance or gaming memory, certin software lags my computer like Hell, that might be my 2.4 single core AMD.
Overall Review: if i wasnt planing to do a boost on my computer, i would buy another pair.
Pros: Well I've had this RAM for just under 2 years now and both sticks are working great. Got 'em timed at 2-2-2-6 (wow!) and they are still very stable. If I had the choice I would re-buy them in a second!
Cons: A little out of date I guess?
Overall Review: My heat spreaders are chrome not black but they still look sexy
