Question 1

Does the arctic white case come with white LED fans like in the picture?

Accepted Answer

Yes; but, only the front fans are White LED, the back unit isn't led. It's easily replaced; however, and I replaced all of my fans with RGBW units so that I can change colors or go with a stock white look.

Question 2

Where is the CD/DVD drive?

Accepted Answer

The optical drive bays are located in the upper right, just above the power button and USB ports. They are oriented vertically, so you must use an optical drive that operates in vertical orientation. Most will, but some do not, check your mfg website.

Question 3

Hello, Im considering purchasing this case as an upgrade from my current one. But I noticed the 3.5 inch drives are "hot swap". My question is. can I put my current drive with my programs in a hot swap and have it work the same as if it was plugged into a sata port on my motherboard? Never had a hot swappavle drive bay before so this is the only thing preventing me from purchasing this case. Any help is appreciated

Accepted Answer

Sure, the hot-swap bays are nothing more than extensions of the SATA ports located on your board. What makes them Hot-Swappable is your board. If your board does not support this feature then it will do you no good. These drive trays are connected to the SATA ports on your board via a SATA cable that comes pre-installed in the case. So, in essence these are no different than having a regular SATA cable plugged into your drive and then to the board. Hope this helps make your decision easier. I own this case and I love it. It has plenty of room and the power supply and motherboard are in separate chambers. One feature I think all cases should incorporate. It's also put together well and holds plenty of hardware. For the money this is by far one of the nicest cases one can buy. IMHO

Question 4

Will this case hold a GTX 760 4GB Windforce?

Accepted Answer

This case can fit any current video card including any GPU waterblock. I have 2 x GTX 680 FTW with waterblocks and they have way more than enough room.

Question 5

do you think I could just flip it so the right panel is the bottom? I think that would make the case better. More stable.

Accepted Answer

I use mine in the horizontal position without too much modification. On mine I removed the feet from the bottom and then installed them on the white side panel, offset a few inches from the corners in order to avoid the panel structure on the inside. I had to drill holes for the screws and then cut openings for the plastic legs that insert into the slot for added stability. One option might be to simply install rubber feet that glue on, to avoid any drilling or cutting. They also sell some rubber feet that are round and only require one hole. I think that Corsair should have foreseen this possibility and made this contingency for the 540 like they did for their 240.

Question 6

is the side made of Tempered Glass?

Accepted Answer

The window is acrylic. No tempered glass in this case.

Question 7

Does the white version have the same rubberized coating as the black version? I don't really want a case that's a fingerprint magnet.

Accepted Answer

No, the white version didn't have a rubberized coating on the white parts, and the black grill was plastic with a metal mesh beneath it.

Question 8

I have three HDD's I want to install into this -- I thought the case had PLENTY of room -- so did I make a bad decision buying this? It looks like there's no way to install the third drive. Any suggestion as to what I should do? Thanks.

Accepted Answer

Assuming they're 3.5" drives, you'll be able to put two in the sleds on the left side. There's plenty of space on the right side, but no 3.5" mounts -- you'd either need an adapter to use one of the 5.25" bays or rig up something custom (the space above the power supply, which mounts sideways, comes to mind).

If at least one of them is a 2.5" drive, there shouldn't be a problem at all -- there's mounts for at least four 2.5" drives on the right side of the case.

Question 9

Would it be possible/practical to remove the rear 3.5" drive bay and replace it with a 120 or 140mm fan?

Accepted Answer

Possible yes, practical no. The case on its own has amazing airflow and if you are planning on utilizing the h100i series cooling system the inside of the case(as i do), while chambered, still keeps the entire inside of the case cool including your drives. Amazing impressed with this case and system and i bet you will be too :P give it a shot without modding and if you feel like you need more air on your drives do the modification. Enjoy!

Question 10

Will this support a 280mm Radiator push-pull configuration (Corsair H110i GT), on top? Also, can one purchase an optional headset hanger for this case?

Accepted Answer

i would say it would fit if it can mount to 2x 140mm fans.

120mm Fans
Front:3 x 120mm (pre-spaced for radiators) Top: 2 x 120mm or 2 x 140mm (pre-spaced for radiators) Rear: 1 x 120mm (included) or 1 x 140mm

This case is a great buy, really quiet. As for headphone hangers, I would either get a banana hanger, or a adhesive hook you can stick on the side of the case. Lol
