Sold Netbook for the Price.
Pros: High definition screen (1366x768) is much better than other netbook screens, Nvidia Ion makes Hulu and HD Youtube videos work really well on full screen, energy efficient. Windows XP Home instead of Windows 7 starter.
Cons: With the stock 1GB it can be a tad sluggish, lots of bloatware (nothing that ccleaner can't fix!), the keys on the keyboard feel slightly flimsy.
Overall Review: If you're the type of person who wants some thing light with a decent battery life (5-6 hours), yet some good video/gaming performance, this is the system for you. Halo 1 runs very smoothly, Star Wars: KOTOR runs flawlessly, and other games that are 4+ years old will also perform extremely well. Once I install an additional 1GB of memory, I bet the performance will get a boost.
An Average DBZ Game.
Pros: The graphics are pretty on par with the anime, one of the first online games on Wii, lots of characters.
Cons: Online is HORRIBLE, and the attacks are extremely hard to pull off, even if you use the Gamecube controller.
Overall Review: I got this game for Christmas last year. I was expecting an awesome DBZ game with good online play. I was wrong. All the online matches are horribly laggy, so its impossible to play them. I would personally rather have a game like DBZ Burst Limit for 360 than this. Better graphics, no lag online, more of the Budokai style.
Vista's finally matured and is now a great OS.
Pros: Much needed updated interface, better utilization of resources than Windows XP and other operating systems, DirectX 10/11 support, service packs 1 and 2 corrected the bugs people complained about.
Cons: System requirements are a little steep, but we live in an era when you can get 4GB of RAM for a couple of Andrew Jacksons. Sadly Vista is being ditched by Microsoft because of whiners. What a shame.
Overall Review: Vista is a huge improvement over XP. It looks a lot sleeker and cleaner, gives better performance and graphics in gaming (thanks to DirectX 10 being exclusive), and is overall a truly modern OS. Go waste a couple thousand on a Mac for its OS if you want to, but I think I'll stick with all of those features and more for under a Benjamin.
Decent..
Pros: With programs running and super performance mode on, I get a little over 4 hours. With power saving and wireless off, I was getting over 6 and a half hours. The screen is crisp, and the webcam and microphone work well.
Cons: The multitouch touchpad is driving me insane. Why couldnt they have a touchpad with a scroll bar? Also, the keyboard, despite being larger than the 900HA's, is still a bit tough to type on. The atom CPU isn't as fast as people say. Watching a youtube video put the load at over 60%.
Overall Review: For the price you pay, this netbook is good. It's lightweight, has lots of features, and has a great battery life. I recommend using a laptop mouse though. If you dont mind a little more weight and spending a little more cash, wait until the 1000HE comes out and buy it.
Good motherboard. I recommend!
Pros: Dual BIOS, good features, cheap.
Cons: Not much room for expandability, but hey, you know what you're getting before you buy it.
Overall Review: I used this motherboard for my first client build. Installation of Vista Home Premium 32 Bit SP1 was a breeze. Overall I'm satisfied and highly recommend.
Great drive. Buy it!
Pros: Works great. Haven't had a single problem to date. Up to 22X speed. SATA > IDE.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Remember this is an OEM, meaning it DOES NOT come with software or cabling. Windows Media Player and IMGburn are great free programs though. Buy this, you won't regret it.
