Overall Review: I would like to do a favor to PNY for their courteous response to my email. I asked them a month ago if the S edition was the same as the discontinued "normal" series and they replied that they were identical. As this is the first review, I would like to continue to commend the 5-Star PNY products that they have always had, since perhaps four years ago. Although PNY does not have market dominance, I would say it is far superior to evga and asus in terms of customer service. Thank you for reading.

Overall Review: does not work with windows xp. after installing the drivers and software from the cd on a brand new computer / i7 / Gerforce 680. the installation was done twice; the first time the computer was formatted to see if the issue was software-related. unfortunately, Creative really has some bad drivers. on a side note, most wlhq drivers for vista 32 are interchangeable with xp. only an act of Gode can surmount for Creative's stupidity regarding older operating systems.

Overall Review: I haven't received this product yet but I am already confident on its ability to perform. I've used top-of-the-line Creative products in the past, but they are really not that good in retrospect. Creative probably sources their products from Africa and uses even cheaper labor. the difference between an audiophile grade card and a imitation one is as large as a mercedes vs. a economy car. I suggest seriously reconsidering your thoughts on "a good sound card." I don't recommend this card for the average sound illiterate it depends on what your needs are. If you buy a Mercedes for someone who cannot drive you have wasted a lot of money. Many people will say Creative has "crystal clear sound" but actually they are liars. Audiophile is completely different from having acceptable sound quality; audiophile means you are taking music to its perceived limit. Anyways, breaking from Creative is wonderful. hi Creative, hope bankrupt soon!
