Nice box of fans.
Pros: Nice box of fans. If you need a lot of fans for a build or just want to have some laying around when others go bad. This is your kit. Very quiet as well.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Not the best fans on the market but for the price it's a good value. I have bought two sets of these and I got about 18 months of 24 X 7 use out of them before the first set bearings finally gave out due to heavy dust contamination. I will buy them again. They are worth the money.
DOES NOT FIT AM4 CPU SOCKET
Pros: It's ZALMAN it's quiet and it cools just fine. Too bad it does not fit my AM4
Cons: Some one at NEWEGG did not read the box and put this under AM4 sockets. It does not fit AM4 at all. This is for AM3 and lower and intel. It's not worth sending back but I'm not a happy builder.
Overall Review: I do like Zalman. The product is fine. Just does not fit my motherboard.
If you do a lot of testing this is for you
Pros: Very well made sturdy and pretty to look at. If you do a lot of teaching or testing and need to have an open PC. This is one of the best ones I have seen. I get a lot of complements on it. The instructions are well done and I did not have any problems following them.
Cons: It comes in many pieces and is like putting an erector set together. But it's solid once you get it all together. Not a true con but it will take about 2 to 3 hours to put a full computer together if you take your time. Make sure that you have a good sized table to lay it all out and work on it. Take your time, and have fun with it.
Overall Review: It would be nice if there were some kind of cable management hooks or guides to keep everything tidy. Also the screws that it uses are not standard PC screws. They are the same thread but are longer because the base is quarter inch think Plexiglas so if you lose any you will have to make a run to the hardware store to get extras, but it comes with some extras.
Works well
Pros: Nice little card. Fits both full and half size PC's Drivers work. Windows 7 has no problems with it.
Cons: none
Works well looks good
Pros: well made and fits perfectly. No modifications needed.
Cons: None
clean but cramped, can over heat
Pros: Small. Can be mounted flat or on edge. Good looks. Standard ITX PSU can be ugraded if needed. front USB ports are covered up with a door. Clean case. Case Works fine if you use passive (fanless) cooled CPU's.
Cons: Very tight inside. Poor Air flow (has tones of holes). PC over heated a lot granted I was pushing it very hard (civilization 4). One hard drive can mount on the side so this will cover your right side vent holes. The video card if you mount one in there will cover the left vent holes. Almost impossible to find a CPU heat sink that is less than 42MM high. That is all the room you will have to mount a CPU cooler. 42MM from CPU surface to PSU base. Back of PSU and back of front hard drive will almost touch. Use either laptop hd drives or SSD's to keep air flow open.
Overall Review: I have two of these cases. The side case vent holes are the exact spacing to mount a 80mm fan to the inside. DO IT. The case is only good for passive cooled fanless motherboards. My passive cooled Mobo works fine. No issues I'm using it for a home theatre PC. Works fine but if you stuff it full it will over heat. I tried to build a portable small game PC. Case is in dire need of a front case fan or some other active air flow option. I drilled a blow hole in my second case and mounted a 80mm case fan on the top outside. Looks steempunk now. It works but I had to do a lot of changes to get it to keep cool for my civilization 4 PC.
