Great, sturdy case
Pros: Good looking, sturdy, easy to build in, and good airflow.
Cons: would recommend getting 120mm fans for the top and rear, but might not be necessary depending on the hardware you install.
Overall Review: To the people that had bad reviews about this case...y'all must have thought you were reviewing a different case. It's definitely not flimsy (I've built computers in flimsy cases before and the metal siding on this one is far thicker than most "flimsy" cases out there) and everything fits in it easily. Very well built case. Nothing was broken, dented, or bent. As far as airflow, you just need to install 2 case fans and it's great. If you can put all the parts in and screw them down properly, I'm sure you can figure out how to screw in 2 more case fans...just be sure you pay attention to the direction they will blow air through the case. Hint: it won't do you much good if you install the top and rear case fans so they're both blowing air into the case...
Died, RMA process not very obvious
Pros: it was "cheap" then, even though it's $25 cheaper than that now
Cons: Lasted about 8 months
Overall Review: I've been searching team's website on how to RMA this piece of junk back to them for a replacement, all they really say is: "Team Group's warranty only applies to consumers who have purchased our company's products through legal sales channels." and "For damage caused by deficient manufacturing processing or poor materials, Team Group Inc. will take responsibility for providing free maintenance. The procedures are as follows: Send the defective product back to the Team Group dealer where it was purchased. Fill out the maintenance form of Team Group dealer, in which specify in detail the product’s model, serial number, date of purchase and describe the trouble you came across. After we receive and confirm the product requested for maintenance if the damage is due to the deficient manufacturing process or poor materials, we will immediately send you a well-functioned product to save your waiting time." However the only thing I can find on newegg's site, since I bought it here, is an email address for RMA, [email protected] So, I've emailed them, there seems to be no official way to submit an RMA like there is for many other manufacturers like Western Digital, Seagate, Samsung, Crucial, and so on
Super Slow
Pros: It works and was cheap when on sale.
Cons: About the same speed as a regular hard drive
Overall Review: Two out of two drives both have slow read speeds comparable to a regular hard drive installed on two different computers, the newest being a 7th gen i7 Dell laptop. I've rarely had a problem with Team Group SSDs (had to warranty RMA a hand full of duds that died early, and the RMA process is pretty good) but this is the first try with this particular model. Seems like they missed something vitally important here. I've setup hundreds of Team Group SSDs in hundreds of computers (possibly thousands, been doing this work for several years now). Vulcan Z, Vulcan G, CX1, CX2, EX2, GX1, GX2, L5 3D, Ultra L5, L5 Lite, L7 Evo, L3 Evo, and various M.2 models as well. This QX model runs at probably half the speed at best.
garbage
Pros: it half-way works. Setup was easy.
Cons: Took forever to receive the item in the first place. Then there's the moment when you think the computer you're working on has faulty display, or faulty USB, but then it turns out to be the brand new HDMI/USB hub you'd just bought... 2 bad HDMI cables... How do you supply brand new, faulty HDMI cables??? Amazing. Then find out the USB on the #2 switch is defective, not the cable, but the connection inside the hub itself. How is someone supposed to fix a computer when it's the connections in your work bench wiring that's faulty... on a brand new part... waste of time... This product wasted my repair shop time!!!
Overall Review: Garbage, skip this waste of plastic.
terrible design
Pros: works, as long as you can get it installed
Cons: if you're lucky enough to get it to stay on, good luck getting it off again if you want to replace your CPU
Overall Review: What where the engineers even thinking on this one???
400W is not 600W
Pros: None
Cons: ikano 400W 80+ Bronze is not a 600W HEC 80 Plus power supply, no matter what angle you look at it from (except for maybe a side that isn't labeled)
Overall Review: Someone in the warehouse must have been drunk...
Chinese seller
Listed as shipping from United States. Shipped from Wuhan, china. 10 days and still waiting. Wouldn't have ordered if they were properly listed as shipping from china.
someone received something
someone, somewhere, received something, according to a tracking number I received from this terrible seller. That someone wasn't me, that somewhere wasn't my address, and that something is anyone's best guess aside from the mystery someone that actually received it, according to a USPS tracking number...
fraudsters
I ordered multiple items from these scammers over the last 2-3 weeks and guess what? I've received none of the items, NONE. Someone has received them though, because the tracking numbers claim they've been delivered...somewhere, to someone, other than me. I want to know how they are still allowed to sell things on newegg. They are obvious scammers. Someone is getting "free" stuff, that's all I know. Another thing that I know, is that I'll get my money back one way or another... Wish I could sue this seller for my wasted time... time=money after all.
