Overall Review: This monitor is nothing short of amazing! It's the only monitor that I could find that all of features that I was looking: LED backlit, IPS panel, 1600x900 resolution, and Displayport. I got this monitor for my parents to replace their 5 year old 1400x900 monitor, and it's was definitely the right choice. I was thinking about getting my parents a 1080P monitor, but 1080P is way too high of a resolution for them. This is the smallest 16:9 aspect ratio monitor that I could find, and it worked out perfectly. The colors look so beautiful from every angel because of the great combination of LED backlit and the IPS panel. Watching movies on this monitor is pure heaven. About the only thing that I can say bad about this monitor is that it doesn't have vertical height adjustment; but that's not a deal breaker. Extremely recommend!

Cons: TN (twisted nematic) = disgusting

Overall Review: This is the monitor that I use at work, and it's a good monitor; but it's not a great monitor. Mainly because the panel is a TN (twisted nematic) and as result the colors look washed out. LED backlit does help, but for just $7 extra you can get the HP ZR2040w monitor. Which has all of key features of the of this monitor (LED backlit, 1600x900 resolution, and Displayport) and has an IPS panel that makes a huge difference. The colors look super bright and the viewing angles are a lot better.

Pros: Incredible picture quality that will leave you breathless! I was at my local retailer, and this monitor was easily the best looking monitor on the show floor. Once I saw this monitor in person, I knew that my long search was finally over. Even though this monitor isn't LCD backlit it easily slaughtered LED monitors that go for about $100 more than this monitor. This monitor looks just as good as a Samsung LED TV.

Cons: This monitor is the best looking monitor I've ever seen, sadly its not perfect. • Not LED backlit, would be nice for lower power consumption • No included DVI cable (would it have killed you LG to include a DVI cable?) • No VESA Wall Mounts • You can't turn the monitor 90 degrees for portrait mode • Glossy screen may be a turn off to some people (I'll expand more on this in the other thoughts section)

Overall Review: Although I am not generally a fan of glossy monitors on laptops because you can't control the lighting where ever you go. Now for a desktop I think that it's okay, because you can place the monitor in a area where you have complete control over the lighting. Plus once you've it setup the way you want, you generally keep the monitor stationary. Even thought this monitor does have a few shortcomings, it's still the best performing monitor out there for the money.

Pros: Extremely well priced Near silent. No pointless LEDs! And most important a 4-pin PWM fan.

Cons: None!

Overall Review: There are so few fans with a PWM 4-pin connection out there, and the ones that are out there range from $20-$25 each. This fan is equally as good and at half the price. How could I not praise this product.

Pros: Quite with great airflow, and included PWM (4-pins).

Cons: Expensive

Overall Review: This fan is great and quite too; but there are other PWM fans that are just as good as this one and that are cheaper too. My favorite being GELID Solutions FN-PX12-15, newegg item number N82E16835426015.

Pros: Another great drive from hitachi. Fast, quiet, and environmental friendly too!

Cons: None!

Overall Review: This drive is actually 298.1 GB, not 320GB; but all manufactures do this these days.
