Pros: This came as part of an asus pc build bundle. I would have preferred a blu ray, but for the price this is a pretty good Dvd drive. It reads all my discs fine and booted win8 perfectly.

Cons: This thing is an energy hog! after my first month of using my new pc (an asus build) my power bill went up $20. This thing came in a bundle, or else I would have chosen a gold or platinum rated psu. I will be buying a new psu that will save me some money on my power bill

Overall Review: If you can choose, pick something that is more efficient. Also, this thing would be nicer if it was modular

Pros: I got this mb as part of an asus build bundle. it meets all my expectations and is runs windows 8, no problems. this thing works great with my AMD FX4100 processor, and my geforce gtx650ti 1gb vid card. It has enough memory slots (4) as well

Overall Review: If you are on a budget, this is mb is a good choice. I see a lot of reviews about DOA and other issues, but I did not encounter any other those. I just suggest that if any issues arise, that you check the drivers to make sure they are up to date. the AI suite software is supposed to auto check for updates, but doesn't work that well.

Pros: For the price, this thing is great! I got this with an asus pc bundle and works awesome with my mb. gpu tweak is a great tool for tweaking this card.

Overall Review: this card does pretty well. I mostly use it for dual monitors and autodesk software (revit, navisworks, etc.) and it handles all of those pretty well. If you plan on gaming a lot, I might suggest a 2gb model, but I'm not going to knock an egg for that. Just remember to make sure are of your drivers are updated b/c win8 is picky!

Pros: I got this ram in an asus pc build bundle. at 8gb on stick, it is great. Just make sure you get two of these, they are great for the price.

Overall Review: When I ordered this in a bundle, I hadn't realized it was 1x8 and not 2x4gb. I just ordered another one of these so that I can have my system running 2x8gb, to help with running Revit and other demanding 3D design software.

Pros: Got this in an asus pc build bundle and works good with all of my components. windows 8 boots up just fine from it, with an average load time of about 10 seconds Plenty of storage space, and at 1TB this thing is a bargain

Cons: sometimes games will close unexpectedly and I have monitored through task manager and the disk seems to be at 100% when this happens. When I first got this hard-drive, I installed all my back-up files from my external WD hard-drive. For some reason, my external hdd caused the internal hdd to have read errors. I resolved these issues with a chk disc and do not use my external anymore

Overall Review: this hdd is great for everyday tasks and storage; I would advise picking up an ssd also if you plan on playing any type of demanding games and just to have your OS on.
