Refurbished but good as new!
Pros: Probably the best card you can put in a PCI-E 2 machine. This thing SCREAMS! I suspect the reason for the refurb. is that this card is big and may not fit into mid-tower cases so they just take it back.
Cons: Requires one 6 and TWO 8 connectors so check your PS first. No disks, cables or instructions -- be ready for that. The fan can generate a lot of noise when under full load.
Overall Review: Replaced a GTX 295 with this mother and my framerates DOUBLED on stock settings and it uses less power than my old card and runs cooler when properly set up. 3GB of DDR5 is more than enough. I've got a full tower Azza with an X58 MB and it was still a chore to fit this card in. Be sure to use EVGA Precision X's cooling curve to keep this puppy nice and cool.
Pros: fast,quiet.cool
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: wiring instructions were not clear to me but thanks to the green/red led's I was able to figure it out.
ASUS G-10AC
Pros: 32 gigs ram 3 gigs video memory will run everything maxed out
Cons: keyboard & mouse are cheap and worthless gtx 760 is a scaled-down version running at 192 bits and it can overheat (80+C) when running certain games maxed out
Overall Review: you will need to partition drive C to get rid of their silly drive d:"DATA" partition which is incompatible with most games wanting to install on drive C: I used a free DL partition app for doing just that.
Gets the job done
Pros: EZ to hook up and it works.
Cons: No instructions which might be a problem for some users.
Overall Review: My PS has two 6's and one 8 but I needed one 6 and two 8's and this cable worked perfectly and is a WHOLE lot better than a Molex hookup.
Pros: Nice big heatsinks. Runs cool. 4-4-4-12 Vista64 no problems.
Cons: Mail in rebate is a pain...
Overall Review: ASUS P5N-E SLI is known to be picky about memory. This one works.
