Affordable Working Ram
Pros: Cheap, worked well for my client's Dell desktop. Clocked down to 333 with no compatibility issues.
Cons: Came in a padded envelope, which however you argue, I don't like. Passed memory diagnostics and worked though. Guess beggars can't be choosers when you opt for free shipping.
Overall Review: Value selects have worked good for me in the past for those who aren't big on performance machines and just want a better running setup.
Okay
Pros: -Cheap (nice sale when i got it) -Aesthetically cool looking with the lights. -Charges four controllers (2 motion, 2 navigation) at the same time
Cons: -Could be a con if you don't like the color ring lights around the base. One reviewer said they can be annoying, but I don't mind -Kind of a space hog, it is roughly about 1 1/2 ft long and 3 in thick. Just didn't fit too well for the space I had for it. (no "she said" jokes now...) -Definitely true that it can be a chore to get the controllers to sit right. It wasn't impossible, but I had to on normal basis try to make these sit properly to get it to charge. Once sitting right, it worked fine.
Overall Review: It's a simple charging base. Works when controllers sit properly. It was on a nice sale when I got it, and it does what it needs to. If you're looking for a no hassle charger perhaps I'd stay away as it is rather annoying to get it to sit right on the charger base.
Cheap router, ok for normal use I guess.
Pros: Inexpensive Wireless N router, easy interface
Cons: Connectivity issues on wireless, Non-configurable QoS, poor range.
Overall Review: Dont run a large network at all, most connections are 5-6 workstations at a time. No QoS kills the whole network when someone is downloading/uploading and the "Automatic" option in QoS does nothing. Wireless N range is no better than my old DLink Wireless-G, in fact worse with constant drops. Shame, DLink has always worked well until now. Paid for what I get I guess.
