Pros: I can now run 2-3 Virtual Machines & Adobe Photoshop simultaneously without major drop in performance. Memory was easy to install on 15" MacBook Pro. (Thanks iFixit!) Packaging was good and both modules were tightly sealed. Shipping box & packing foam was more than adequate for shipping.

Cons: Nothing unexpected. Hibernate/restore takes longer due to having to copy larger RAM contents to/from the hard drive.

Overall Review: I didn't buy this to increase speed, so it came as no surprise that the standard OS and general usability were pretty much the same as with 4GB of RAM. Where having 8GB really shines is with heavy and extensive multitasking, such as being able to run Photoshop, Chrome and several VMWare Virtual Machines at the same time without too much swap use.

Pros: Couldn't tell you.

Cons: Board was DOA. Same boot loop "power up, shutdown before post, power up, shutdown before post" issue as everyone else. The issue seems common enough that I'd avoid this board entirely.

Pros: - Quick shipping, easy, hassle-free return process

Cons: - It did not work in my PS4, so buyer beware. My PS4 had an HGST drive in it, and several forum posts (found while troubleshooting) say that some systems with stock drives by HGST are somehow incompatible with the Seagate. Others said it worked with no problems. Drive may have been defective... so buyer beware.

Overall Review: - Have a look in your PS4 and read the Sony forums and reddit before you buy.
