Great product, but it may require advanced knowledge to install.
Pros: Speed.
Cons: -Price. -Couldn't get Ubuntu to install to it. -Finding a suitable PCI to M2 adapter was a chore. I got that from another site though. When I was looking on here, they were pricey.
Overall Review: -Couldn't boot to this device in a HP EliteDesk 705 mini, despite explicitly stating their board supports it. -For the folks having trouble installing Windows OS to it, I downloaded an EXE someone previously mentioned in these reviews, and unpacked the EXE with 7zip. I grabbed the INF I needed and loaded that driver during Win7 Pro x64 install. After Win7 was installed, I was able to upgrade to 10. -I'd gladly pay extra when buying a mobo if this type of drive were embedded on the board. No PCI adapter, no SATA cable running to another device. Can't wait until M2 is a standard feature. I envision stacked M2 slots where you'd populate them like laptop RAM, snap in. Just imagine the speed populating all the M2 slots on a board and setting up a hard/soft ware RAID on them.
Decent
Pros: The ergonomic design is nice. Very affordable. The profiler is a little weird to master, but you can get the hang of it.
Cons: The profiler is a bit weird. I expected to be able to map the keys within the game i was playing. But you can use the games defaults and map the controller to the keyboard keys
Overall Review: none
Incredible
Pros: cost per GB is reasonable reliability of SSD great speeds
Cons: none
Overall Review: After i got my new build together and had two of these in RAID stripe mode, i bumped one off a 3.5' high table. It hit the floor on its corner and i panicked. Not only would this have destroyed the drive, but also the RAID array. I put the drive back, powered on my new machine and everything was fine. A fall from that high would have broken a spinning drive, but this drive is tough. After that fall, It's already paid for itself.
Review
Pros: Great sound quality, good range, wide array of compatible devices, bluetooth interfacing for other devices.
Cons: none
Overall Review: When you have earbuds or other headphones and the sound is loud, other people can here it. These headphones are completely isolated. i took them off and could barely hear the sound a foot away. excellent surround emulation. I had to pause FRINGE because i thought i was hearing a hard drive clicking on my computer. turns out it was background sound in their lab on TV. it's amazing how clear the sound is.
Review
Pros: Great price, ability to use multiple ports.
Cons: none, other than having to manually change the sound output location if the HDMI port is used. i'm not down-egging for that.
Overall Review: I have this card running a DVI monitor and an HDMI TV. the hdmi cable hijacks the audio. if the TV isn't being used, i have to manually change the default playback device to the desktop speakers. not a big deal for such great performance and picture quality.
ok so far
Pros: small, loud, easy to modify
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: i'm modifying these to run off of a DC power supply and will wire them into my security system. for $2.50 a piece, they sure are worth trying out. i'm desoldering the"easy on off switch" because that's ridiculous to have on a security system
