This review is from: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 950 2G OC
Pros: Fast good FPS 145 FPS in Armored Warfare on mostly High settings with AA turned off.
Keeps cool even without fan control software.
Even with latest and great Nvidia Drivers most games do not recognize the card as anything other than Nvidia Graphics.
Good match up with Current Rig
AMD Phenom II X4 965 OC to 4.3 ghz
16 GB of ram
Windows 7 x64 SP1
Cons: Fans started squeeking after 3 days with Fan Control software setting fan at constant 80%. Squeek turned into howling banshee at higher speeds.
Shut off fan control and used onboard video card fan control and temps decent enough
Other Thoughts: Was a little nervous about purchasing a video card from ZOTAC. Not really a top performer or known for top quality.
Fans are really evidence that Quality is somewhat lacking in this manufacturer.
I like the chipset just not the Quality of the manufacturer. Won't RMA until fans die...Don't want a returned or used card sent in exchange when the darn card is only a few days old and already showing issues.
Would purchase the Video Card again if needed but would select another manufacturer...Definately!!!
This review is from: StarTech USBEXTAA5DSK 5 ft. Black Desktop USB Extension Cable - A Male to A Female
Pros: Good Quality,
Tight connection even turned it upside down with heavy Wireless nic attached and stay attached even after shacking. Ordered 2 both the same quality.
Heavy feel so it won't be easily moved around with slightest jar like some others.
Cons: The only con of sorts is the shape. Its long and shaped more like a cheapo mouse from China.
Not very space friendly. Its size makes carrying it around in the Laptop bag kinda awkward.
Other Thoughts: Would buy again and would recommend...READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Wow where to start. Solid construction all aluminum made. Very well made. Small compact fits easily in a pocket, purse, or clips on to your belt/camera strap without risk of it falling off. Heavy Duty style, removable(by screws), clip that won't break like some plastic ones. Simple beam focus by extending the telescoping lens holder area.. Notched out region near the lens protects the glass lens and allows you to set it down lens first and not get lens dirty also works like a nice little night light that way as well. On/Off button large and at the end of the light making using it a breeze. Pressure sensitive pad so you can activate the light momentarily with lite pressure and a little more to leave it on full time. Design is slightly military look but very aesthetically pleasing.
Would recommend to anyone. Will buy again. Must have item for every vehicle, boat, trailer, and travel/camera bag.
Cons: Well no so much as a con but a dislike. You have to remove the lens end to access the battery area. This is the same area that telescopes for beam focusing. On mine it seems that it's never quite tight enough as evidence from the focused beam being out of focus.
Other Thoughts: Now don't be thinking this is a flashlight for outdoor area's. It shines on tight focus brightly about 75 to 100 feet. But wide angle it lumen drops to about 15 to 20 feet. Took it for a night out in the Pacific Northwest to do some shooting star watch, with homemade red filter added, and tightly focused was great to illuminate a well maintained trail but quickly got became not bright enough when the trail went rough and had to change focus to up close. But the telescoping lens does allow for some adjustment and a sweet spot was quickly found. Tested it on way back with the red filter removed it was improved but still laking somewhat in wide mode.READ FULL REVIEW
