Great processor for windows 7

Pros: A real live RYZEN processor that will run Win7 and AMD actually has drivers to support it! Outrageously fast and stable w/o overclocking. Handles anything you can throw at it effortlessly.
Cons: Originally bought a Gigabyte Aorus board for this, but even after days of slipstreaming drivers into the Win7 installer, would still not load. Stuck the board on a shelf and got an MSI Carbon Pro board w/ PS/2 ports and the slipstramed installer worked like a charm. Installed Windows 7 Ultimate in just minutes and then loaded the driver CD and the system was fully functional. Added an MSI Radeon RX Vega 64 video card and a WD 1TB NVME M.2 drive and this rig is a total beast.
Overall Review: For anyone looking for a Ryzen system that'll load Win7, this was the perfect choice. All the benefits of a killer Ryzen CPU without having to use Win 10 and it's incessant "Phone home ET", telemetry. Now a few of my friends are bugging me to build one for them as soon as they can save up the $$.
Totally Awesome!

Pros: Installed in a new MSI Carbon Pro M/B with Windows 7 Ultimate, and it is outrageously fast and super stable. Easy install, just drop it into the socket, lock it down, add the included wraith cooler and that's it.
Cons: Originally purchased a Gigabyte Aorus M/B and could not load Windows 7. Wish I knew that before getting the motherboard.
Overall Review: After five days of slipstreaming drivers into the windows installer file, gave up and got an MSI board with PS/2 ports so the installation of Win7 Ultimate with the slipstreamed drivers could finish. Loaded the driver CD and within minutes the system was up and running perfectly. Now I have a killer Ryzen system without having to use Windows 10 and its incessant telemetry. Would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for an awesome gaming rig or a killer rendering machine. And obviously, all the usual stuff like web browsing and office programs and multi tasking just fly.
