Really good QHD monitor
Pros: It has low input lag of around 9 ms typical, it does true 8-bit color, it is height/tilt/rotate adjustable, supports freesync between 30-144 hz, has decent color reproduction. Really good for video watching and gaming at high framerates.
Cons: Large bezels = only 1 monitor is practical. No blur reduction i.e. Black Frame Insertion means it looks a bit blurry at very high refresh rates even with overdrive on (fault of IPS/AHVA being slow at decay time). OSD buttons are not intuitive as some have their functions swapped (PDF manual explains this).
Overall Review: About as good of a monitor one can get today that is still made for this price point. Any higher and you have to go towards 4K and/or curved displays.
Very nice keyboard but...
Pros: I love the layout. Modernized and easy to use. NKRO is a plus. Nice touch for gaming and all.
Cons: The fatal flaw is the micro usb isn't well made. Typical failures will be from the connector coming from the motherboard coming loose. There is little a person can do unless they know how to solder it back on.
A solid performer
Pros: This router is very good for the 2.4 GHz band with extra range compared to typical routers. Has a very stable stock firmware that can easily work just fine for the majority of users. V1 also supports custom firmware if you are into customization or adding features not included in stock firmware.
Cons: Custom firmware is somewhat of a mixed bag. Not as many hackers support this hardware and those that do tend to get one thing right and one thing wrong between builds e.g. either wireless being buggy or some other feature being toned down or whatnot. It's a russian roulette with these firmwares.
Overall Review: Stick to stock if all you want is a good wireless router with no frills that won't fail you if you are into wireless gaming. Custom firmware is also great but the few that support it either dropped it or tend to break features between build and build.
An interesting power supply if you have it
Pros: As Seasonic was known to use special methods to ensure proper voltage regulation as noted by JonnyGuru's review of the modular version of this PSU it's very rock solid and supports Haswell lower power states even to C7. A simple websearch will show how PSU like this were made to support it. Very nice performance that will last you years on end. Don't let the Silver rating fool you. If you are lucky to have "cheaped" out on this power supply you definitely have a gem in hand ; bar the hard to cable manage cables...
Cons: Non-modular cables are obviously messy. Hard as nails to make them look nice. It's also discontinued which is obviously a minus. Some might also consider the floppy connector a minus as well.
Pros: Case has lots of room overall to maneuver cables and customize how/what you want. So much room that even non-modular PSUs can be made to look modular! Yeah. Serious. Extra expansion "slot" in the back lets you use usb-based expansions and whatnot without sacrificing actual motherboard slots.
Cons: Steel case feels heavy. Almost as heavy as my previous server grade ex-atx case that was also steel based. Thumb screws for side doors were poorly made/finished and required working with to wear them in unlike my ancient Titan 650 whose thumb screws were rived in to make them pathetically easy to work with (like the makers only tested them with the holes they were drilled from rather than switch the screws around to verify they were finished well) . Blue power LED is overpowering and should have been located somewhere away from the USB ports (or made smaller). In dark environments one can't see the USB ports because glare from the LED prevents from one seeing the ports clearly. :/
Overall Review: Case is solid for the price especially if you can get it for less than a Benjamin. Do note it's steel so in a tricked out system it will feel heavy to maneuver around!
awesome pair of sticks
Pros: Low profile sticks with very low latency ideal for haswell builds that demand overclocking but want to accommodate a big heat sink for the cpu.
Cons: Paying a premium for a smaller heatsink footprint that might be not worthwhile for those that know ahead if their cooler will fit or not!
Overall Review: These sticks don't speak rice like some of the other manufacturers that make me just want to immediately want to buy them (simple black but easily blends into typical gamer motherboards). Seriously. "They just work" and definitely work well.
