Decent mobo

EVGA 113-M2-E113 AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA nForce 730a HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
EVGA 113-M2-E113 AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA nForce 730a HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Overall, the board is pretty good. It comes with plenty of features and the onboard video is better than average. For the most part, I had no problem setting things up and getting it all running. It's a good choice if you're looking for something that just needs to be average and not too high-end.

Cons: The reason I'm only giving 4 eggs is because I was disappointed to find out that I can only use 4 of the 6 SATA ports in IDE mode. If you want to use all 6, you have to use AHCI or RAID mode. I was not aware of this, because on NewEgg it says that 6 SATA ports are available - so logically I assumed that I could use 6 individual devices with it. Apparently I was wrong. Additionally, the SATA ports are nearly impossible to access once the board is in place.

Useless mouse

GIGABYTE GM-M6580 Noble Black 6 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser Desktop Mouse
GIGABYTE GM-M6580 Noble Black 6 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser Desktop Mouse

Pros: The only reason I'm giving this product two eggs instead of one is because I like the feel of the mouse and the button layout.

Cons: This mouse is completely useless. When you lift it off the desk and move, it still reads the movement. So this means when I've moved the mouse as far to the right as my desk allows, and I pick it up and move it to the left (in the air), my mouse cursor moves back to the left. So I can't make any progress moving my mouse cursor anywhere. It's like a practical joke you'd play on someone. I can't imagine using this mouse for anything. I went and bought a Logitech MX518 and will be using that instead.

Overall Review: I've bought a lot of Gigabyte products in the past, and it seems that some they do well, and others they just shouldn't bother with. Mice are something they shouldn't bother with. Stick to motherboards and full tower cases.

Good secondary monitor

Acer 21.5" 60 Hz TN LCD Monitor 5 ms D-Sub, DVI G6 Series G226HQLBbd (UM.WG6AA.B01)
Acer 21.5" 60 Hz TN LCD Monitor 5 ms D-Sub, DVI G6 Series G226HQLBbd (UM.WG6AA.B01)

Pros: Decently priced, thin and sleek looking, does its job.

Cons: The coloring is clearly faded.

Overall Review: I purchased one of these for use as a second monitor. Looking at this side-by-side with my primary monitor, the colors are clearly more faded on this one. Even something simple like black does not appear as black, even when using a "proper" viewing angle. This is the only reason I took off an egg. As a secondary monitor for auxiliary tasks this is fine, but if you need to do something that is highly dependent on accurate colors I would not purchase this.

Great CPU

AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ - Athlon 64 X2 Windsor Dual-Core 3.2 GHz Socket AM2 125W Processor - ADX6400CZBOX
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ - Athlon 64 X2 Windsor Dual-Core 3.2 GHz Socket AM2 125W Processor - ADX6400CZBOX

Pros: I've used one of these for almost a year, and recently purchased another. Both have worked flawlessly and offer great performance for the price. I've used the stock cooler without any issues (idle temps are 33C on one machine and 40C on the other).

Cons: None.

Great case!

Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Plenty of bays, bottom PSU, and great air flow. Very easy to access every part of the case. Definitely worth the price.

Cons: It feels a little cramped, but not enough to take off an egg.
