Best $10 mouse
Pros: It has a comfortable feel and tracks well.
Cons: It's not laser.
Overall Review: As an avid gamer I click click click. The most a mouse lasts is about 3 months before it develops clicking issues (double clicking or needing to click twice to register). I even had a razr gaming mouse that run $50 with a year warranty that had to be replaced twice in the one year warranty. I can only hope this mouse lasts 3 months. But at $10 each, who can complain.
Pretty... useless
Pros: Pretty colors.
Cons: If you are even a mild gamer, the mouse will develop a double click where you press once and it clicks twice. There is no resolution to this and they will simply send you another that will develop the same issue. After your warranty ends, your mouse will develop an issue where it fails to initialize at boot. You will have to constantly crawl under your desk and unplug the USB and reconnect it three or more times before it will connect and, if you're lucky, it will bring up a pointer, but most likely not.
Overall Review: Razer has the worst track record with customer service I have ever encountered. It literally took a full week to get the first replacement mouse and three times as long for the second. They continually blame everything else in the PC for their defective hardware despite the FACT that the issues are on every device the mouse is connected to. Do not buy this mouse. Do not buy Razer. Stick with the other brands who make better mice for half the price and honor their warranty and have excellent customer service.
It is what it is
Pros: Size, resolution, refresh rate.
Cons: Size, resolution, refresh rate. HDR looks horrible. Curve is too pronounced. Viewing angle is non-existent. Loading a game causes the screen to spin the circle which can take up to one full minute to end at times. Weight. (My 85" Samsung TV weighs less). My list is ongoing, these are my key issues.
Overall Review: It's a 55" monitor that has to be in "Game mode" in order to take advantage of the size, resolution and refresh rate. Turn off "game mode" and the pc shows games in a tiny box in the upper left corner. "Game mode" is nothing but an advertisement for Microsoft Xbox. You cannot remove the app nor remove the Xbox content. I did not buy an Xbox, I thought I bought a monitor but I guess Samsung thinks this will only be useful for Xbox users so everything revolves around it. I wanted it for my PC but I don't want the constant annoying advertisement for Xbox and related trash on my screen. Since it cannot be removed, I am returning it. The box this arrived in was severely damaged. The protective Styrofoam was broken. The screen works for the most part though it has a small bezel scratch on the lower left corner. Too small to really notice. Still, that's physical damage and as such any manufacturer warranty is null and void. Without the warranty, this unit is NOT worth a $2000 investment, so I am returning it. This unit is NOT compatible with nVidia G-Sync. Turning on this feature on the PC causes all games to load black screen with a spinning circle (kind of reminiscent of Microsoft) that never loads. This site claims compatibility with G-Sync so I am returning it. I am returning it. I'll buy another Samsung TV for 1/4th the cost and a much better experience.
I have to give this a low rating
Pros: PCIe; NVMe, M.2
Cons: none
Overall Review: This is not a con but when an older model SATA SSD outshines this in the benchmarks, one has to wonder why buy this. I know I am. Crystal Disk Mark 980 Pro NVMe | 860 Evo SATA III (Rapid mode on) Q8T1 6893/5013 9397/7078 Q1T1 4099/4240 10324/7086 Q32T1 504/319 686/440 Q1T1 83/182 695/447 I will never again buy into the lie that their NVMe are faster. I'd return these and buy 4 more 860 Evo if I thought Newegg would go for it. They're obviously obnoxiously faster.
Useless for movies
Pros: Blu-ray, Burner, M Disc, etc
Cons: No software for Blu-ray Movie playback.
Overall Review: If you're getting this for your HTPC to get Blu-Ray movie playback, then look elsewhere. The "optional" software that will play the movies is not included. I was under the impression that optional meant it was my option whether or not to use the software, but it evidently means it's optional whether or not it's included. I have always been an ASUS fan, but with this and a few other grievances, I'm thinking ASUS is the brand to avoid when building a PC. They are not a consumer friendly company. As always, Newegg rocks. I am setting my drive up for return as I type this.
Our Review
Pros: Very sleek. Fast. Reliable.
Cons: Price difference between this and the GTX480SC when there is little real performance difference. No included HDMI cable. They give you an adapter, two actually, but that's it. You have to go out and buy an HDMI cable which averages $50 at most shops. I paid $50 more that this $519.99!
Overall Review: For the price of this card and what you're getting, it isn't worth it. The GTX480SC is just as good and it had an included HDMI cable which saves you even more. I bought this at a competitor because it wasn't available here yet. I wanted to test is for a customer's potential build. Based on my report, my customer has decided to buy another brand and you should too. EVGA is too greedy of late not providing an HDMI or even a DVI cable with this card. Buy the GTX480SC or another brand, but don't waste your time and money with this garbage.
